The ILVA Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation committed to advancing the safety, dignity, and freedom of women and girls.

We fund and collaborate with organizations working to end gender-based violence, disrupt systems of exploitation, and build pathways to justice and opportunity. Our work is guided by a deep belief in the power of strategic partnerships, survivor leadership, and intersectional approaches to social change.

With a focused and hands-on approach, we support initiatives that are bold, scalable, and capable of driving long-term impact. We do not act as sole funders or support programs nearing their end. Instead, we invest in catalytic projects where our involvement can accelerate momentum, deepen effectiveness, and foster sustainable transformation.

Ending gender based violence in all its forms with a focus on anti-trafficking and domestic violence initiatives

Combating human trafficking and the commercial sex trade, grounded in an abolitionist framework that views prostitution as a form of systemic violence

Elevating survivor 
voices and advancing legal, policy, and narrative change to challenge cultural norms that sustain exploitation

Supporting intersectional solutions that recognize the links between gender-based violence, poverty, immigration, and racial injustice
